The Story

A country, bottled honestly.

Why we built the brand the category pretended to be.

The beginning

A category built on our name

For decades, a category was built on the idea of Morocco, but filled with silicones.

The world’s best-known “Moroccan” hair products are not made in Morocco. Turn the bottles over: the first ingredients are silicones — synthetic coatings that imitate, for a while, what real oil does. Morocco supplied the name, the imagery, the romance. Everything except the product.

Oasis Morocco was founded to close that gap: an authentic hair oil treatment — argan and prickly pear, zero silicones — formulated and made in Morocco, by Moroccans, and verifiable by anyone who cares to check.

The principle

“The bottle never lies.”

Every decision we make — the formula, the box, the words on this page — passes a single question: would this make the bottle lie? If the answer is yes, we don’t do it. It has cost us easy marketing. It is also the only advantage no one can copy.

The founders

Two Moroccans, one obsession

Lakil Essady El Kabir

CEO · Chief Brand Officer

Born in the Rif mountains of northern Morocco, an Amazigh speaker. Grew up knowing the real Morocco the labels only borrowed — and decided the label should finally tell the truth.

Bilal Ljazouli Naji

COO

From the Jbala region of northern Morocco. Runs the operations that keep the promise: the laboratory, the supply chain, the logistics — the unglamorous machinery of honesty.

The Blue

Morocco has always painted itself blue

There is not one Moroccan blue. There are four. Nila — the indigo of Amazigh dyers, ground from plants for centuries. The blue of the Tuareg, the “blue men” of the Sahara, whose robes stained their skin. Chefchaouen, the blue-washed city in the Rif. And the fourth: in 1923, the French painter Jacques Majorelle mixed an ultramarine so intense it took his name, and painted his Marrakech garden with it. Decades later, Yves Saint Laurent found that garden in ruins, bought it, and saved it — he said Marrakech taught him colour.

We call our blue Marrakech Blue. Our boxes are bottled in it — the fourth blue, carrying the other three inside, the way this brand carries the country that made it.

The proof

Don’t take our word for any of this

Every box carries a code. The barcode was issued in Morocco. The label lists all fifteen ingredients in order. Verification is the product.
